so first of all i am going to comment on my numerous changings of the background... the pink was too bright for now. i really wanted a "valentines day" look cuz i love that holiday, but i'm entranced with the rain, so here is how it will be. hopefully for a while. we'll see though. i like change. well, sometimes. :)
so revival's been going down this week, and g.s. J.K. is speaking this week. he is AMAZING!!! i totally love hearing him speak. he's spoken a lot about being filled with the spirit. last night was especially moving to me. in the beginning of the service he passed out balloons and had us blow them up and hold them during worship. he said that a deaf friend of his will hold a balloon during worship in order "to listen to" the music. how awesome is that? there is another whole realm of life that i wasn't even aware of... that's present in the air within a balloon. you could feel the music! he spoke out of ephesians 4 and 5 and said that our life without allowing the Spirit of God to fill us is like a balloon with no air, but when we invite him to come in and fill us in a powerful and new way, that we are like the air within a balloon... there is another whole realm at work within our lives and people can not only see the Spirit within us... they can hear it!! that is so awesome! i want to be full of the Spirit in such a way that people feel it. how incredible!
ephesians 4:1, 5:15-18
I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. ... Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, becasue the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
